It was another tough game for the Lakers against the Pacers. Poor officiating as well as a poor start to the game, once again hurt the Lakers in the end, as they lost to Paul George and the Pacers 115-108. Unfortunately, the loss itself wasn’t the only thing that hurt. Timofey Mozgov took two hits to the face tonight and both turned out to be pretty hard.

It turned out to be a laceration to the mouth that he took from a foul. Mozgov was able to return to the game, however the Pacers weren’t done with him it seems.

The second shot he took was the worst of the two. It seems he was hit hard as he ended up leaving the game for good with a left eye contusion(Bruise). From the images seen in the post-game interview it doesn’t look like it feels very good. As Luke Walton puts it “he looks like he was in a heavy weight fight”.

Cat-Scan scheduled for tomorrow

Whether he plays tomorrow against Atlanta will be up to the CAT-Scan scheduled for tomorrow. The current concern is that it is an orbital fracture (eye fracture). Not just a contusion as is believed now. For Laker fans we should hope that it is only a contusion. With contusions there is a chance Mozgov can play tomorrow. With an orbital fracture it’s likely he will miss some time, or he’ll wear the Darth Mamba mask that Kobe wore.

As soon as the results are in we will keep you posted.
