As scheduled, the 6’9″ small forward out of Duke worked out for the Lakers today, and according to him it went “very well”, per Mike Trudell @LakersReporter:

The consensus #2 pick stated that he has a plan to put on some more pounds to continue to fill out his tall lanky frame in order to be more NBA ready this summer, per @EricPincus:

According to Ingram, what stood out the most is “The comfortability, everyone around here is great people.” He went on to say that the Lakers feel like a family organization:

From the looks of it the Lakers put him through the ringer.

As I stated before, the workout process can be a make or break moment for players. Last year’s workouts proved to be the difference between selecting Jahlil Okafor and D’Angelo Russell. With the dinner and workouts going very well, it’s looking likely that Ingram will be the future wing for the team barring any trades. Even though the Lakers’ second round pick is still anyone’s guess, the future of the team is beginning to look extremely bright.

Speaking of Russell, he made an appearance at the Lakers facility while Ingram was working out.  He was likely able to meet with his potential future teammate, but as has been the theme all summer his real intentions were simply to work on his game, via Shahan Ahmed @shahanLA:
