Luke Walton gets fined.. Lakers get healthy

Lakers trying to trade for Paul George?
D’Angelo Russell out 1-2 weeks
De’Aaron Fox isn’t happy about Lonzo Ball sitting out tonight

Here are some quick updates for the game tonight from across the Laker world. First up Luke Walton gets a fine for a well-deserved outburst against the referees on Monday.

The play this ourburst was in regards to was a play in the first quarter in which DeMarcus Cousins threw Julius Randle down in an attempt to get a loose ball foul on Randle. The referees should’ve called a technical on Cousins, but failed to call anything at all. Luke Walton was furious about this and proceeded to scream at the refs and run onto the court. Luke Walton had to be restrained, as he was hot about the no call. He received two consecutive technicals and was thus ejected from the game early. He was not remorseful at all.

Nick Young fully cleared

In other news Nick Young has been fully cleared with no minutes’ restrictions against the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday night.

Though he hadn’t had the same restrictions as D’Angelo, Nick Young did have a limit after coming back relatively early from his calf strain, so this is great news. Also mentioned is D’Angelo Russell increase in minutes. Only playing 16 mins in a rust filled New York Knicks return, he played 19 minutes against the Sacramento Kings in wich he scored 17 points in those 19 minutes. Not only does it look like he has shaken the rust off it looks like he may be showing that the injury really did slow him a bit to start the season.

Last but certainly not least, Jose Calderon and Tarik Black are hoping to be back practicing tomorrow, though it remains unclear when they can return. Not that Calderon isn’t important, but a return of Tarik Black would return the Bench mob to full strength.
