Yay! This news comes after the Lakers (perplexingly) signed Timofey Mozgov to a long term deal.
Lakers in serious talks on the framework of a four-year, $65M deal with Timofey Mozgov, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Jordan Clarkson was a key part of the 2015 season, and has established himself as a key member of the Lakers youth core. Resigning Clarkson was very high on my list of things to do this offseason, so I’m glad things got done early (or late, as it’s 3:01 am currently. It’s like GMs hate sleep).
There isn’t much else to say about the Clarkson signing, aside from it being great for the team. Clarkson proved himself in the past two seasons to be a valuable player. He has his flaws, but with his young age, he can still improve. He desperately needs help on defense, but he has been working very hard in the offseason.
