Injury Update 10/04/17

An open letter to fellow Lakers fans
Kristaps Porzingis possibly to the Lakers?
Film Room: Ingram’s maturing interior game

The Lakers dropped to 0-2 following the loss Monday night to the Nuggets, and will face the Nuggets again, this time in Ontario, California. Before the game tonight, Lakers coach Luke Walton spoke about his team and their injury updates.

Lonzo Ball: Out (mild left ankle sprain)

Brandon Ingram: Out (head contusion)

Brook Lopez: Cleared to play but not expected to (back)

Andrew Bogut: Cleared to play but not expected to (limited practice)

Josh Hart: Will play (ankle)

Larry Nance Jr.: Will play (finger)

None of these injuries are considered major injuries, in fact, most are precautionary, as Luke and Co. seem to be keeping a close eye on the players in Summer League and Preseason. With Zo and B.I. out tonight, look for Jordan Clarkson, KCP, and Kyle Kuzma to take up the usage of the guys out. Following tonights game, the Lakers will take on the Kings next Sunday in Vegas, the Jazz at Staples, and the Clippers at Staples, before the season opener on the 19th.
