After suffering leg cramps in the opening Summer League game Friday night, it was announced that Brandon Ingram will sit out the rest of Summer League, for precautionary reasons. In the Lakers second summer league game on Saturday, 3 of the 4 draft picks for the Lakers sustained some sort of minor injury, and all 3 will sit out tonight vs the Kings.

Through the first two Summer League games, Lonzo Ball has averaged 8P, 8A, and 7.5R per game. Kuzma has been suprisingly stellar, averaging 20P, 6.5R, and 2.5A per game. Hart has played well, averaging 10P and 4R after two SL games. Brandon Ingram, who left the opening night Summer League game early, scored 26, and seemed to be almost unstoppable. Leg cramps or not, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Ingram sit the remainder of Summer League games.

For all those disappointed we won’t get to see Lonzo Ball vs De’Aaron Fox tonight, you’re not the only one. This tweet has since been deleted, but thanks to Tania Ganguli of the LA Times, everything posted online is there forever, even if it’s deleted.

The Lakers will now turn to Vander Blue (meh), Travis Wear (meh), Matt Thomas (super meh), Zubac, Nwaba, Caruso, and Thomas Bryant. A starting lineup has not been announced yet.
