Its been a busy Tuesday for the Lakers so here is a rundown of the entire days madness.
It all began with the announcement that magic Johnson was taking over as President of Basketball operations:

This news sent shock waves throughout the world of Laker fandom as the Hall of Fame point guard went consultant to top dog in a blink of an eye. Shortly after that it was announced that Rob Pelinka would be taking over as GM for the Lakers in a quick turn around which seemed like only a matter of hours:
Lakers are finalizing a multi-year agreement with agent Rob Pelinka as general manager, league sources tell @TheVertical. He'll start soon.

In addition to this Front Office purge it seems the phones remained ringing off the hook for the acquisition of Lou Williams. After multiple offers were on the table the Lakers agreed to deal Lou to the Houston Rockets for Corey Brewer and an unprotected first round draft pick in the upcoming draft.
The Rockets are sending Corey Brewer and a first-round pick to the Lakers for Lou Williams, league source tells @TheVertical.
